Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT) is used for the treatment of acne and other skin conditions. This is a two-step (drug + IPL) treatment. First, the Amino-Levulan Kerastick is applied to the cleaned skin surface. Then a specific wavelength of Intense Pulse Light (IPL) is directed toward the acne lesions activating the photo-sensitizer.
